'Goddess Brigid'- Clay Wall Art with Connemara Marble

Named after the Celtic pagan goddess Brigid and patron Saint of Ireland. I wanted to create a unique Irish inspired design and base it around a stone unique to Ireland. The large piece of genuine Connemara marble (found only in the mountains of Connemara, Co. Galway) takes center-stage with elements of the wild Irish landscape, daisy, dandelion and moss sculpted in clay and nestled around the marble.

The Goddess's face is dusted with a metallic pearl shimmer powder which catches the light nicely and she is placed on a rich green background.

The veined colours in the marble are striking which you you can see in the close up picture.
